State of the Professional Awesome

With the first Redline Time Attack event (very) rapidly approaching, I feel obligated to step back and take an objective look at what lies ahead for the team.
Currently, the Evolution is in pieces and spread out across the country, with its suspension just having finished a diagnostic session from JRZ Suspension, its transmission being delivered to TRE today, and new parts being gathered from all across the country. The engine is in process of receiving a full refresh, the aerodynamics package is being designed, chassis stiffening is being planned, potential sponsors are being contacted, research is being conducted, marketing and media material is being created.
If it seems like a daunting list, it’s only because it is. But how do I feel?

Confident.

Professional Awesome is, in its simplest and purest form, a collection of some of the most skilled and dedicated people I have ever had the joy of meeting. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be able to say that I have no doubt that we will be able to create a formidable race car before our first event on April 10th (less than three months away) and will stun the competition. I have no doubt that we will be able to put in the long nights and early mornings necessary to run a race team in addition to a 40 hour workweek. I also have no doubt that we will be a leader in the Redline Time Attack series because we are hell-bent on winning.

And win we will.
