Progress continues on the Professional Awesome Evolution as we welcome JM Fabrications to our family of sponsors.
JM Fabrications is the brainchild of Jim McKeone Jr., a DSM (Diamond Star Motors – Mitsubishi Eclipses and their Chrysler cousins) enthusiast who began making parts for his own car as a hobby in 2004. Word of Jim’s handiwork quickly spread throughout the Mitsubishi community and by 2005, Jim was able to commit to motorsports fabrication as a full-time career.
JM Fabrications has experienced a rapid growth since its opening and is now known worldwide for their quality parts and services. To this day, Jim and his employees still stick their mission statement, “To provide the highest quality products possible through our skilled employees and state-of-the-art manufacturing process, simply put; Build it like it’s going on your own car!”
For 2010, Professional Awesome will be using JM Fabrications’ high quality (surprisingly high, in fact) Lower Intercooler Pipe to replace the factory piece that met an untimely demise at last year’s event in Nashville. We may have to hold onto the factory intercooler piping for its inherent sentimental value however, as it once again proves that duct tape can fix anything. Thankfully this year, it looks like we won’t have to worry about our intercooler piping, as JM Fabrications has given us a very serious piece of kit!
